Boil Water Notice Rescinded

Area: Freestone Route -Beginning at 402 FM 1451 traveling Northwest towards Teague on FM 1451, CR 711, CR 721, CR 730, CR 731, CR 741, CR 742, CR 743, CR 749, CR 750, CR 751, CR 752, CR 811, CR 813, CR 814, CR 820, CR 826, CR 830, CR 841, Hwy 80 S. North of CR 740 (CR 740 not included), Hwy 489 West of Hwy 80 S.
On August 9, 2025 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the South Freestone County WSC public water system, TX0810005, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of 8/12/2025.
